WorldWorkHub is a Chrome extension that helps you discover global job opportunities, including remote roles and positions with visa sponsorship. This privacy policy explains what data the extension collects, how it is used, and your rights.

Data We Collect

The extension collects and stores the following data locally on your device and on our servers:

• Device Identifier: A randomly generated ID that identifies your extension installation. It is not linked to your identity or Google account.
• Search Queries: Keywords you type into the search bar (e.g., job titles, skills, company names).
• Filter Preferences: Your selected filters for country, work type (remote/onsite/hybrid), and visa sponsorship.
• Favorited Jobs: Job listings you have marked as favorites.
• Search History: Your recent searches, used to personalize job recommendations.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Deliver relevant job listings matching your search criteria.
• Send you notifications about new job opportunities matching your preferences.
• Save your favorites so they are available across sessions.
• Enforce the freemium tier limits (free vs. premium users).

Data Storage

Some data (favorites, theme preference, device ID) is stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage.local API. Search history and filter preferences are sent to our backend server to enable personalization and notifications.

Third-Party Services

Job data is aggregated from publicly available job boards (RemoteOK, Arbeitnow, Himalayas, Jobicy). We do not share your personal data with these platforms.

Your Rights

You can at any time:

• Remove the extension, which deletes all locally stored data.
• Clear your favorites and search history from the extension popup.
• Contact us to request deletion of your server-side data.

No Account Required

WorldWorkHub does not require you to create an account or provide an email address. All identification is anonymous and device-based.
